PRIVATE HIRE AGREEMENTIt is the responsibility of the person who is hiring this Bouncing Castle to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage to the Inflatable. They must ensure that the following Safety Instructions are followed: 1. The inflatable must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult (over the age of 18) who must have read and understood these conditions. 2. Do not allow anyone over the age of 14 or anyone who is taller than the outside walls when standing on the inflated bed to play on the unit. No adults are to use this Bouncy Castle unless otherwise stated. 3. No food, drinks, ice cream or chewing gum to be allowed on or near the Bouncy Castle which will avoid choking and mess (Please note if the Inflatable is collected in a dirty condition then the person hiring it will incur a cleaning charge). 4. Ensure
that all users remove their footwear (except socks), and any other hard,
sharp or dangerous objects, large buckles, toys pens, knives, jewellery,
badges etc. Spectacles are best removed. 5. No face paints, party poppers, coloured streamers or silly string to be used either on or near the Bouncy Castle. 6. No smoking or barbeques near the Bouncy Castle. 7. Never
allow anyone to climb or hang on the outside
walls. 8. Always ensure that the Bouncy Castle is not overcrowded, and limit numbers according to the age and size of the children using it. Try to avoid large and small children from using it at the same time. 9. Do not allow any careless or reckless behaviour or intentional rough play including deliberately colliding with others. Offenders should be immediately excluded from the unit. 10. If the Bouncy Castle is not being used for any part of the day, please switch the blower off at the mains. 11. Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front safety step as a child could easily bounce off the inflatable and get hurt. The step is there to assist users in getting on and off! 12. Ensure that no-one with a history of back or neck problems is allowed on the Bouncy Castle, or indeed any child who is feeling unwell 13. Do not allow users to be on the unit during inflation/deflation. This is DANGEROUS. 14. No pets, toys or sharp instruments to be allowed on or near the Bouncy Castle. 15. Please ensure that children do not attempt somersaults, are clothed appropriately, and are not carrying items that may fall out of their pockets and cause harm. 16. Ensure that an area of 6 feet (2 metres) around the unit is completely clear. 17. The Bouncy Castle should not be used if it becomes wet on the jumping area. If no shower cover is fitted and in the event of rain, the unit should not be used. 18. In the event of heavy rain, it is strongly recommended that the Bouncy Castle be switched off. Any wetness, including bubbling (which is normal) can be dried with a towel. Tarpaulin, if provided, should be used during heavy periods of rain fall to cover the castle ensuring safe use during dry periods. 19. In the event that the blower stops working, please ensure all users remove themselves from the inflatable immediately. The blower has a safety rest button, try pressing this, also check the fuses and make sure the blower tube or deflation tube has not come undone or something has not blown onto and is obstructing the blower. In the event that it overheats, or loses power, switch the blower off at the mains, then switch it back on again 1 or 2 minutes later, it should now restart. If it does not, inform us immediately. 20. The non-hiring public must be prevented at all times from having access to fans, electricity suppy cables and outlets, generators or motorised fans and their fuel, exhausts, air inlet and outlet pipes, ropes and stakes or weights. The hirer must maintain vigilance and the use of barriers is recommended to prevent injury. 21. The proposed site
will not be inspected prior to inflation. The inflatable will be
anchored securely and a ground sheet will be provided if necessary to
protect the surface and/or the inflatable. It may not be necessary to
anchor the inflatable when used indoors. It is up to the hirer to ensure
that the area is suitable for the inflatable that will be used at the
time. 22. Safety mats will be
provided indoors, the hirer must make sure that the mats are used
correctly and not moved away from the
inflatable. 23. If the inflatable is
to be used indoors, the hirer should satisfy themselves that the site
fully complies with any regulatory requirements including fire
regulations. The hirer should familiarise themselves with the location of
all fire exits, maximum number of persons allowed, assembly areas, fire
alarms etc. 24. Our inflatable's are manufactured from flame and smoke retardant materials, it is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that no part of the inflatable or its ancillary equipment obstructs any escape route.
